No. We are a private-pay practice and do not contract with insurance. We provide a superbill after each session that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Whether they reimburse you, and how much, depends on your plan and your deductible.

Sessions are $135 to $185 with a licensed counselor, depending on which counselor you see. Beginning September 2026 we will also offer sessions at $65 with a graduate counseling student from Dallas Theological Seminary completing a practicum. Practicum students are not yet licensed and work under the supervision of Marisa Cockrell, MA, LPC.

Mostly you talk and we listen. Your counselor will ask what brought you in, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping will be different. You do not need to have it organized, and you do not need to know where to start.

Yes. We see clients online anywhere in Texas, with the same counselors and the same care. This is often easier for parents of young children, shift workers, and anyone outside the Katy area.

Yes. We see teen girls and boys for anxiety, depression, self-harm, friendship struggles, and family conflict. Parents are part of the process.

We are professional counselors who offer a Christian perspective, and it only comes into the room if you want it to.

Yes. EMDR is a therapy for trauma and for distressing memories that have not settled with talk therapy alone. Most of our counselors are trained in EMDR.
